John Mote (Owner) Mote Signs, Started painting signs and race cars when he was 14 yrs. old, He started Hand lettering race cars for friends of his dad, John M. Mote Sr. at an area stock car race track in Bradenton Florida. He then went on to painting Outdoor billboards in 1973 when he was 17 he worked as a Pictorial Artist for Florida Outdoor Advertising until 1984 when Florida Outdoor was bought out by 3M National Advertising where he worked as a pictorial artist from 1984 till 1993 he figured he had painted aprox. 3000 billboards and most of those were pictorials, then he started Mote Signs of Quality in Sarasota, Florida

This means that we can use different abrasives for different substrates and levels of detail and control the quality of the product we produce. We can also adjust pressure as necessary to assure neat, clean edges on the most complex graphic designs.
